AMATERAS LED breaks the common sense of bonsai
Please tell us how you started bonsai.
My grandfather was a big bonsai fan and owned quite a few. I had been familiar with it since I was a child, but at the time I had no interest in it at all.
More than ten years ago, I saw a program on TV that featured bonsai. I thought ``Bonsai might be fun!'' and fell in love with bonsai.
Bonsai is the fun of creating the tree shape to your liking, Unlike other plant genres, you can enjoy both the pleasure of growing them. There is another kind of fun. In addition, with the daily changes of miniature trees, You can feel the change of seasons.
Please tell us what you are aiming for when it comes to bonsai, such as what you are careful about, layout, cultivation methods, etc.
Bonsai are basically managed outdoors (in the sun or shade). Each variety has a different preferred environment and different amount of water. We grow our plants by considering the location with optimal sunlight and the amount of water.
If you can manage it 100% indoors using AMATERAS LED etc., Breaking down the common sense that ``Bonsai can only be managed outdoors!'' Will this lead to an increase in demand for bonsai? With that thought I've been experimenting with different varieties for several years.
Have you ever felt like you made a mistake while growing bonsai?
When I first started, I let it dry a lot... The common "how to raise" is just the way to raise in the region of the person who wrote it. In Japan, the temperature and environment are completely different between the west and east.
Also, is it the garden of a detached house? Or the balcony of an apartment? However, the living environment in which they are raised makes a difference. We need to develop a way of growing that suits the region and environment.
What are the important aspects of growing lights?
Illuminance and projection time. Just growing a bonsai indoors (and not withering it) is not enough. Our goal is to grow them as vigorously as they would outdoors.
Please tell me the advantages and disadvantages of using BARREL's growing light.
The good thing about it is that I started the experiment with some skepticism at first, but Because it emits high-quality light, It was possible to grow 100% of many varieties of bonsai. I will continue to experiment with different varieties.
The caveat (disadvantage) is that the light is quite bright, so if it's too strong you'll get burnt. However, it can be adjusted by adjusting the wattage, distance to the object, and presence or absence of a reflector.
Bonsai is not as difficult as it seems
For those who are involved in bonsai and plant cultivation, please give a message to beginners and users.
Many people imagine a difficult image when they hear the word bonsai, but Growing rooted plants in gardening and bonsai There is no difference. The difficult part is maintaining the tree while changing its shape. All you need is experience and knowledge.
If you understand the mechanism by which plants grow, you will be much less likely to kill them. Mechanism is not difficult. It's very simple. Everyone is an amateur at first. Some failures are part of the experience! I think it's good to gradually learn from those failures.
If you use BARREL's plant growing light, Until now, bonsai had to be managed outdoors. You can enjoy it up close with indoor management.
